ENEL-MED opens a new specialist outpatient clinic in Gdańsk

The ceremony of opening a modern specialised outpatient clinic of ENEL-MED Medical Centre was held today.

The new clinic is located at Office Island building at 163 Grunwaldzka St. in Gdańsk. It offers a wide scope of services, ranging from specialist consultations to imaging diagnostics. The cost of this investment is about PLN 11 million.

ENEL-MED has a network of 11 multi-profile outpatient clinics in the country and additionally cooperates with over 670 partnership centres on the territory of Poland. Principally, these are outpatient clinics. The newly opened outpatient clinic is the first centre of ENEL-MED of this kind in the Tri-City.

Specialist outpatient clinics are the segment of our operations, ranked third taking into account profitability. The decision on opening the first outpatient clinic of ENEL-MED Medical Centre in Gdańsk has been based on observation of the market for a long period. ENEL-MED is still searching for new development opportunities, and thus, we endeavour to identify potential convenient locations for new centres. Gdańsk is just the location, where we recognised a significant potential. Additionally, ENEL-MED records a growing demand for specialist outpatient clinic services. To a great extent this is due to an increase in wealth of the society, growth and change in the population structure, limited capacity of public healthcare services, as well as developing health awareness among Polish people. At the same time, this investment is the next stage of the implementation of the Company’s strategy assumed at the moment of its debut on the Stock Exchange – said Adam Rozwadowski, President of the Management Board of ENEL-MED Medical Centre.

The branch at 163 Grunwaldzka St. offers a full range of medical services, including:

•    specialist consultations;
•    outpatient paediatric clinic for sick and healthy children;
•    outpatient and laboratory diagnostics (sample collection point);
•    surgical procedures at the outpatient clinic;
•    imaging diagnostics;
•    dentistry.
