Cancelling an appointment
Have you ever had problems with seeing your doctor only because there were no free appointments available? Well, you probably have. And has it ever happened to you that you have not cancelled your appointment although you knew you would not be able to turn up for your visit?
You can cancel your appointment in three easy ways:
With a text message – sending an SMS - NEW!
Upon the receipt of an SMS message with a reminder of your appointment, please reply to it by entering a special 4-digit number provided in the message. The appointment will be cancelled, and you will receive a confirmation of the cancellation within a couple of minutes.
For the cost of the text message, your operator’s rates apply.Over the Internet – with our Internet appointment-making system
Over the Call Centre – by calling the number 1 95 27, extension 3
The appointments that have not been cancelled are one of the most frequent reasons for the limited availability of doctors – and we all care for excellent availability of our doctors. Please remember that cancelling an appointment - even one hour earlier - makes it available for someone else. This may pay off when we are in urgent need for an appointment ourselves.
Remember to cancel your appointment as soon as you know that you are not able to turn up for your visit.
You have nothing to lose, and others may gain a lot.
