Strategy

The Management Board of Centrum Medyczne ENEL-MED S.A. has adopted a three-year strategy for the company’s development. In the years to come, ENEL-MED intends to expand the scale of its operations to new areas and increase sales efficiency of the offered services.

The company’s strategy is to increase sales effectiveness of medical subscriptions, which represent 57% of its revenues, including development of the activities on the Silesian and West Pomeranian markets, and to establish new clinics in selected locations as the potential of the existing ones is fulfilled. According to the strategy, the Management Board of Centrum Medyczne ENEL-MED S.A. also plans to create two new highly specialised profiled centres in Warszawa and to increase the share of dentistry in the portfolio by progressively increasing the number of dental offices. An important element of the strategy is activity in the area of long-term care for the elderly. For this purpose, Enelbud Sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of Centrum Medyczne ENEL-MED S.A., formed a partnership under the name of Bonus Vitae Sp. z o.o. with JH Group AG, with its registered office in St. Gallen (Swiss Confederation).

 Creation of specialised profiled centres aims to develop commercial services for individual customers in selected specialties, such as orthopaedics with rehabilitation, aesthetic medicine, etc. The first centres will be created in Warszawa, and the expected return on investment is two years.

Dentistry plays a significant role in the activities of Centrum Medyczne ENEL-MED S.A. It may be recalled that the company started its activity in 1993 from provision of highest level dental services. In the following years, the company plans to develop this area, including by increasing the number of dental offices and activities other than positioning of the dentistry, as was the case up to now. The company intends to achieve a significant increase in sales of commercial services in this area and to gain a leading position on the Warsaw market.

 At the same time, Centrum Medyczne ENEL-MED S.A. will continue to develop hospital services, continuing efforts to increase sales of commercial services. For this purpose, the company intends to streamline the process of acquiring patients from outside, and to build a medical team handling the process “from consultation to surgery”.

Implementation of the investments planned by ENEL-MED for the period 2014–2015 requires capital expenditure of PLN 50m. The company is considering two sources of financing – through the sale of a separate part of its enterprise including diagnostic centres, or through recapitalisation by a financial or sectorial investor, or an insurance company. In the case of establishing cooperation with an insurance company, the company is willing to create synergies as regards cross-sale of products. All new investments will be implemented while maintaining the financial security of the company.

Implementation of the approved strategy will allow for rapid development and strengthening of the market position of Centrum Medyczne ENEL-MED S.A. in the coming years.
