Presentation of the dental makeover – Agnieszka
Another participant of the makeover project organised by the monthly Claudia was Agnieszka (37), married with two sons. Agnieszka looks after others on a daily basis: she works as a nurse anaesthetist at a hospital’s operating theatre. “My teeth are unevenly coloured, so I avoid smiling broadly. My dream is to be looked after and taken care of by professionals for at least one day.”
A beautiful smile is every person’s showcase. It improves self-confidence and makes us smile more often, which is when we are perceived as upbeat and open to others.
Agnieszka’s smile needed improvement and treatment. She had unattractive fillings on her front teeth. Additionally, the uneven and slightly yellowish colour of her teeth made her feel self-conscious of her smile. She was taken care of the enel-med dentistry experts led by Aneta Warzecha, DDS.
Diagnostics carried out before the treatment enabled a detailed assessment of Agnieszka’s dental health. Firstly, an orthopantomogram was taken, obtaining a single image radiograph based on which any abnormalities could be detected and the treatment planned.
The next stage was the professional hygiene procedure: scaling, sandblasting and polishing of teeth in order to remove plaque and tartar.
This was followed by laser whitening. This modern method does not cause excessive hypersensitivity, and helps brighten the teeth up a few shades. When, after two weeks, the colour of Agnieszka’s teeth stabilised, Aneta Warzecha, DDS, took care of the patient’s front teeth by applying composite veneers. It was decided that the teeth would be slightly lengthened in order for the new smile to have better proportions. The result is stunning!
