Presentation of the dental makeover – Małgorzata
Małgorzata is another patient who participated in the makeover because her teeth undermined her self-confidence.
Agnieszka Lenard, DDS, was responsible for results of Małgorzata’s dental makeover carried out at the Enel-Med Medical Centre. During the first visit, an extensive dental check-up was carried out and a single image radiograph (an orthopantomogram) was taken, enabling to prepare a treatment plan.
The primary changes in the teeth appearance included:
- removal (under the microscope) of a broken pin after previous treatment, and endodontic (root-canal) re-treatment of several teeth,
- conservative treatment: removal of caries and placement of composite fillings.
As part of permanent prosthetic restoration, Agnieszka Lenard, DDS, provided Małgorzata with crowns with crown-root inlays.
In the case of the mandible, the patient was offered orthodontic treatment closely connected with placement of an implant to replace the lower first molar, which would be possible after the complete healing of the periapical changes.
Composite veneers were placed on the upper teeth in order to improve the colour and shape of the teeth, so that the patient could smile fully.
